The draw for the Midland Youth Cup has taken place, and Rushden & Diamonds are one of the four teams to receive a bye into Round Two of the competition.

Diamonds reached the final two years ago, narrowly losing out to Port Vale. Last year, they lost 0-1 to Walsall in Round Two after a convincing win over Solihull Moors.

In this year's competition, Diamonds will meet Hereford United at Nene Park in Round Two for a place in the semi-finals. Full details of the fixture will be announced nearer to the date
