Rushden & Diamonds Youth Team won 4-2 away at Birmingham City Whites on Wednesday.

The goals came from Dan Easlea (2), Liam Read (Pen) and Sean Shields.

Head of Youth Paul Driver commented "We were always in control in difficult conditions, with a line-up of mainly first year players. Birmingham were on top of the table, although we've got games in hand, and we carried on from last weeks good performance.

The last two matches have been really promising and the first year scholars are certainly showing signs of moving on upwards"
