Rushden & Diamonds Youth will face Northampton Town Youth in the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup on Monday 2^nd November 2009.

Kick off will be at 7:00pm in the stadium at Nene Park, with admission priced at £4 for adults and £2 for all concessions.

The Diamonds progressed to this round by beating Stewarts & Lloyds 9-0 in the preliminary, Leighton Town 5-0 in the first, Luton Town 2-0 in the second and Rocester 5-0 in the third round qualifying.

Head of Youth Paul Driver said "Eight of these players were involved in the game last year when we got beaten by Northampton, and they feel they didn't deserve that - so will be out to go one better"
