The youth team completed a week of pre-season fixtures with a very creditable 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

Paul Driver added "It was an excellent performance, much better than earlier in the week. It was a really good team performance, the new players are settling in well. We used 17 players throughout the match and everyone got at least one half. Forest are a very good side so it was a very creditable draw.

We've got a bit of a break from full youth team games now as our older boys are involved in a couple of Rushden & Diamonds XI games against Brentwood and Loughborough next week."
