Rushden & Diamonds and Shrewsbury Town have had to rearrange the Midland Youth Cup Semi-Final fixture, initially planned for Monday 16^th February 2009 to Monday 9^th March 2009.

Shrewsbury's Football League game at home to Chester was called off recently due to a frozen pitch, and the rearranged fixture will be played on Tuesday 17^th February, The Shrews do not want to be playing two games on the Prostar Stadium's pitch in two days, so the Midland Youth Cup game against Rushden & Diamonds will now be played on Monday 9^th March 2009, with kick off at 7:00pm.

The Diamonds reached this stage by beating Hednesford Town 6-3 in the First Round, and beating Lincoln City 7-1 in the Quarter-Final. Shrewsbury progressed by beating Solihull Moors 5-0 and then beating Kidderminster Harriers 10-0.

We are awaiting confirmation with Leyton Orient about what will happen with the Puma Youth Alliance Fixture against them - it had been moved from the 14th February to 21st March in order to give us more time to prepare for the semi-final.
