The Youth Team lost 3-0 in the Northants Boys Under 18 Cup against Peterborough United on Saturday morning.

Paul Driver, Head of Youth at Rushden & Diamonds said "The sending off of Alex Phillips so early on made it very difficult for us but I thought we battled well to try to get back in the game but the luck wasn't with us on this occassion and, as the game wore on, I thought they made very good use of the extra man as we tired a bit. It was a useful exercise for me to give a couple of the Under 16s who are looking for scholarships next season a decent run at Under 18 level"
