Midland Youth Cup Fixture Rearranged

Rushden & Diamonds Youth Team will now face Lincoln City in the Quarter Final of the Midland Youth Cup on Wednesday 17th December 2008 with Kick Off at 1:00pm, on Nene Park Pitch 2.

Entry will still cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.

The game had been due to be played next Tuesday evening (9th December 2008) however due to Lincoln's involvement in the FA Youth Cup against Birmingham City on Monday 8th December, they have requested that the Midland Youth Cup fixture be rearranged.

The winner of the Diamonds v Lincoln City will play the semi-final away from home against Shrewsbury Town.

December will see the Youth Team in action on:

6th December (11am) - Luton Town v R&DFC - Puma Youth Alliance
13th December (11am)- R&DFC v Brentford - Puma Youth Alliance
17th December (1pm) - R&DFC v Lincoln City - Midland Youth Cup
20th December (11am) - R&DFC v Peterborough Utd - NFA Under 18 Boys Cup

After that the youth scholars have their Christmas break, with fixtures resuming on 10th January 2009.
