The Youth Team went down to a strong Wycombe side 2-0 at home in the Puma Youth Alliance last Saturday, with both goals coming on the break either side of half time.

Both goals came on the break following Rushden set pieces and pressure.

Head of Youth Paul Driver said "We didn't take our early chances, and I think that started lurking in the back of our players minds as the game went on. We had the vast majority of the possession, and a huge territorial advantage, but we couldn't convert our chances. We got 39 crosses into the box, however it was just one of those days where we couldn't stick it in the net.
