The draw for the First Round Proper of the FA Youth Cup was made on Thursday, with the winners of Rushden & Diamonds v Northampton Spencer to face a home game against local rivals Northampton Town, which is likely to be around the second week of November.

The Cobblers play in the Puma Youth Alliance South East Conference alongside the Diamonds. The two sides met earlier in the season with Rushden winning 3-0.

The 3^rd Round Qualifying Round tie between Diamonds and Spencer will be played at Nene Park's Pitch 2 on Tuesday 21^st October 2008, with kick off at 7:45pm. Entry will cost £3 for Adults and £1 for Concessions.

Also in the FA Youth Cup, FootballCV Reds will play their 3^rd Round Qualifier against Cogenhoe United on Thursday 23^rd October. The game will be played on Nene Park Pitch 2 - the winners of this game will go on to face an away tie against Solihull Moors or Boldmere St Michaels in the First Round.
