Youth Team Player, Aynsley McDonald has today been called up to attend a training camp for the Welsh Under 17 Squad from August 24th to 27th in Oswestry, North Wales which will include a match against Everton at their Finch Farm training Centre.

Despite only just starting the first year of his scholarship, McDonald was recently rewarded with an appearance for the first team in their recent friendly against Tottenham Hotspur.

Youth Team Manager, Paul Driver. commented "This is another superb opportunity for Aynsley to continue to build on the good work we have seen from him in pre season.He has also clearly looked after himself over the summer and, with his hard work in pre season, some excellent performances in our recent youth games and with getting on against Spurs, he fully deserves this call up.We all wish him well with the squad".
