Youth Team to face Wellingborough Town 2004 FC

Rushden & Diamonds Youth team will be in action on Wednesday 23rd April 2008 in the Semi-Finals of the Northants FA Under 18 Boys Cup.
The game will take place at 7.45pm on Pitch 2 at Nene Park, with entry costing £3 for Adults and £1 for Concessions.
The Diamonds Youth Team joined the competition in the third round after being seeded, beating local rivals Kettering Town 2-1, with a last minute winner coming from Sam Smith to progress to the Quarter-Finals, where they won 2-1 against Peterborough P.S.V.
Wellingborough progressed from the first round of the competition by beating Moulton Magpies 2-1, Northampton Spencer 3-2, F.C. Aztec 3-2 and Netherton United 2-0. The other Semi-Final sees Kettering Ise Lodge play Peterborough United for the place in the final.
