The draw for the fourth round proper of the FA Youth Cup sponsored by e.on has been made today.
The winner of Rushden & Diamonds vs Colchester United will be at home to the winner of Aston Villa v Crewe Alexandra, with the match having to be played by Saturday 19th January 2008.
Aston Villa's youth team play in group B of the F.A. Premier Academy League, and have won the FA Youth Cup three times, most recently in 2002, when players such as Steven Davis, Luke Moore and Liam Ridgwell were in action.
Crewe Alexandra's Youth side also play in the F.A Premier Academy League, in group C along with teams such as Manchester United and Liverpool, meaning either team will be a tough fourth round test for the winner of Rushden & Diamonds v Colchester United.
The Diamonds v Colchester, 3rd round game will be played at Nene Park, on Tuesday 11th December 2007, with kick off being at 7:00pm. Entry on the turnstiles will be priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, should the game finish in a draw, extra time and penalties will decide the match.
The Aston Villa v Crewe game takes place the day after, on Wednesday 12th December 2007 at 7:00pm.
