Sean Shields joined the Diamonds Youth setup prior to the start of the 2009-10 season. He can either play up-front, or as an attacking midfield player. He made two subsitute appearances for Potters Bar Town at the end of the 2008-09 alongside ex-Diamond Alex Bolt. He had also been involved with the Youth Setup at Cockfosters Town during that season.
Sean made his first appearance in first team colours in the Hillier Cup game against Daventry United on 13th October 2009.
