James is a goalkeeper from the Northampton area who joined our Centre of Excellence during his Under 12 season following time within our Development Structure.Gained a contract with us after an excellent season with Trevor Smith's Under 16 Squad. An excellent shot stopper.
After impressing during his spell with the youth team he was registered to allow him to play in the First Team Squad in December 2010, and was given squad number 29.
In February 2011 he had a chance to gain experience of men's football at Newport Pagnell, as well as helping the Diamonds Youth Team reach the Final of the Midland Youth Cup, two days after appearing on the bench for the first team in their game against Gateshead.
In April 2011 he captained the Diamonds Youth Team to victory in the Midland Youth Cup over Chesterfield at the b2Net Stadium.
