After impressing on trial Alex was signed at under-16 level in December 2004. After some good performances he was offered a scholarship, and continues to make good progress starting regularly for the reserves.
Alex made his first team debut coming on as a substitute in the 2-1 defeat to Gravesend & Northfleet in the FA Trophy on 3rd February 2007.
