Twenty-two year old Justyn Roberts signed for Rushden & Diamonds on non-contract terms just prior to the start of the 2008/09 season.
Lewisham-born defender Roberts was a trainee at Nottingham Forest before moving to Dulwich Hamlet. He was signed by Blue Square Premier side Weymouth in July 2007 on a one-year deal, and played over 20 games for them in the 2007/08 season.
He made his league debut for Rushden & Diamonds in the 2-1 defeat at Kidderminster on 30th August 2008.
