We spoke to Assistant Manager Paul Driver following Saturday's defeat at York.
Paul, five minutes that really changed the game and caught you out.
Yeah, it's another similar game to the Barrow game, we played well in the first half and then we know what we've got to do but in the second half we didn't do that and what they did, they did well and they kept pushing forward and forward, keeping us under pressure and sooner or later it's going to turn into chances for them and they've taken their two chances. We didn't put any pressure on them and what we've been talking about after the end of the game is that we've underhit clearances so the ball comes back too easily and we've not turned them so that Ryan and Rene can get in behind them and run, they can then squeeze up and get nice balls to Rankine, Gash and Constantine when he came on, they want to get to the big lumps up front and we didn't do enough right things consistently to take that pressure away and in the end it's told.
There were a couple of chances in the first half and then ten minutes into the second half, all of sudden they weren't really in the game.
No, we don't want to become a hoofball side but there's a time and a place and if you're away from home against a side that's looking for a bit of confidence, you've got to do the same and the right things at the right time and like I say, we kept giving them the ball back to them and that invites pressure. Dale didn't have any other shots to save other than the two goals but there was still a consistent pressure on the back four.
It's fair to say, the boys were kept in the changing room for a while, is this a worry for you?
Yeah, it wasn't a bottles thrown around the changing room and blasting people, it was just about trying to get through to the players so that they understand what we want from them. We've played well in the last three games, particularly at home but when you're away you have to play a different way to earn yourself the right to then get it down and play, so it certainly wasn't a locked in the changing room and a blast, it was just frustration cause that's the fourth game away from home where we're in it or in front at half time and we've come away from just the win at Kettering in the four games.
Is it too simplistic to say that Leon Constantine came off the bench and turned the game?
Yeah, I'd look at us and what we didn't do as more of the reason of why they won it rather than Constantine cause I think Gash did well up front for them anyway, but from my view it's more our mistakes and our decision making rather than one of theirs doing it.
A lot of the tension before the game was at right back, Max Porter played there today, did you miss him in midfield and how well do you think he did at right back?
He does alright there, he can play at right back cause that was one of the positions he was potentially going to play and you could argue that he might have done better keeping the ball in the middle and done better closing down in the middle which we didn't early on but again I wouldn't say Max being at right back was the main reason of why we didn't get anything out of the game.
