Welcome to Rushden & Diamonds, how has your first week back at training been?

Yeah it is good; there is a good bunch of lads here, so yeah I'm looking forward to it.

Has it been a hard few days or are you easing into things?

Yeah it's never fun running!! but it has been a good morning so far.

You started off in England, but have been in South Africa the last year or so, how did you find that?

Yeah I was over there for a year and a half, it was a great chance to spend time with my family. I played out there with Bidvest Wits, I still had another year on my contract over there, but I agreed to come back to England so they let me go. So I would like to spend my last four five years of playing over here.

Is the style of play different there?

Yeah, it is very, very much so. It is a total different way of football, not really honest football, when you have the ball you play and when you don't have the ball then it doesn't really matter, you just wait for it to come back to you.

There is a lack of education over there and the youth do not understand the positioning and formations, they just play. It was good experience to go and see it out there,

What would you say is your strongest position?

I enjoy playing right full back and obviously playing centre half; I've played those two positions in my whole career really. It just depends, as every club is different.
