Rushden & Diamonds are pleased to announce that over the weekend midfielder Max Porter signed to remain at Nene Park for another season.

Max joined the Diamonds from Barnet in May 2009 on a one year contract, being almost an ever present in the Diamonds side with 45 appearances in the Blue Square Premier, 50 overall in all National Competitions, and four goals. Max played many of those at central midfield, but has also deputised as a wing back when required, also getting call ups to the England C side where he has faced the Republic of Ireland U23, The East of Scotland League XI, and Poland U23.

So as things stand the following players are confirmed as having signed for the 2010/11 Blue Square Bet Premier campaign:

Dale Roberts, Joe Day, Curtis Osano, Michael Corcoran, Jamie Stuart, Aynsley McDonald, Neil Cousins, Max Porter, Lee Tomlin, Sam Smith, Craig Farrell, Nabil Shariff, Aaron O'Connor.
