After a successful season, it's that time of year when Football Clubs are in discussions with players regarding next season and beyond - Manager Justin Edinburgh and the staff at Rushden & Diamonds have been hard at work securing players under contract for the 2010/11 Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.

We are pleased to announce that as things stand the following players are confirmed as staying with Rushden & Diamonds for the next season:

Still Under Contract
Dale Roberts, Lee Tomlin and Sam Smith will stay at Rushden & Diamonds next season under their existing contracts.

Options Undertaken
Curtis Osano, Craig Farrell, Joe Day and Michael Corcoran will remain at the club, with options on their contracts undertaken for next season.

Others staying
Youth Team players Aynsley McDonald and Nabil Shariff have signed Pro-contracts to become first team squad members for next season.

Neil Cousins will stay with Rushden & Diamonds to continue his rehabilitation following injury against Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup.

Jamie Stuart, Aaron O'Connor, Shane Huke, Paul Terry, Mark Byrne have all been offered contracts for next season, also Kurt Robinson and Max Porter have been offered a re-engagement of their contracts for next season.

Rob Wolleaston, Nick McNamara, Jamie McGuinness, Matt Pattison and Lewis Hilliard have all been released, with Jake Beecroft also leaving by mutual consent. Loanees Wes Thomas, Cliff Akurang and Jefferson Louis have all returned to their parent clubs. We'd like to wish all those players leaving Nene Park the best of luck for the future.
