Aaron O'Connor: We're the team no-one wants to play!

Posted on: Fri 26 Mar 2010

We spoke to Aaron O'Connor ahead of the away game at Wimbledon on Saturday.

Two massive away games coming up, with Wimbledon and Kettering the two teams just below you - if you can avoid defeat on those games you'll be in a good position.

Yeah, we're the team that no-one wants to play at the minute, teams look at our results and don't want to play us. Having watched and played in the two draws, I think we could have won both games - so we will go into each game trying to win it.

The away form has been good all season

Yeah it has been all year, we've been playing just as well away from home as we have at home. When we go to opposition places we make sure the opposition can't play too well, that gets their crowds on their backs early on which can help us put in a good performance.

Wimbledon lost at home to Barrow the other day, so will have a lot of pressure on their shoulders, they'll want to do well get in playoffs as well, so we'll go there and use the pressure to play the football we want to play. Its a good surface there which should help that, they are one of the best passing sides in the League, we like to play good football - so it should be an entertaining game.
