Kurt Robinson talks about the defence, the season so far and Saturday's game against Gateshead
I suppose being back at home it might be a little bit different, the last two games were obviously great, but it might be a little bit more open at home and you can express yourselves a little bit more.
Yeah, we can push ourselves and there's nothing to hide from the home crowd and hopefully push forward for three points every game and we're doing well as a team.
What do you make of Gateshead, they're obviously fighting for their lives at the bottom.
Yeah they are but I think as a back four we're strong and Dale has been doing really well as well.
So you're impressed with his form then?
Yeah definitely, I think everything about him and the way he's been playing and communication has been spot on.
So, it's nice that the defence gets the headlines for a change, Tommo has been getting lots of praise but the defence has stood out in the last few games.
Yeah I think the defence has done really well, obviously we've got quite a few clean sheets under our belt but it isn't just because of the defence, it's also the front three who stop the ball coming down to the defence for us to do our job, so the whole team has worked well, not just the defence.
Then of course the midfield, especially having that defensive midfielder, whether it's Paul Terry or Porter the last two games.
Yeah Paul's done well, I think Macca filled in there for a little while, only thirty minutes though and Max is obviously able to play anywhere and has done really well so really happy with the boys.
So, happy with 1-0 wins, it's nice to win 6-1 but 1-0s will be what might get you promoted.
At the end of the day, it's still three points, we've left it a little bit late at times but 1-0 is good enough.
