We spoke to Justin Edinburgh ahead of the Oxford away game about the potential of Diamonds being in the title race should they win tonight, and how the players are up for the challenge.

Do you think if you won at Oxford, you'd be in the title race?

Not sure, I think if we did win it then people would say that it's not over and I suppose if we didn't get anything then people would say we're out of it…we've never been in it as far as most teams are concerned but it's a tough one to call.

We are on a very good run and it's possible for a few teams to win it and we're one of them, I'm not counting us out of it but we're going to have to continue the run we're on.

We can win it mathematically, but realistically it's going to take a lot, but if we do win at Oxford then of course we're in it .

Do you think the good run would change the players, how they prepare for the game - makes them change their games?

There are two different types of bravery as I see it, there is the putting your head in and putting tackles in kind, and you've got to be able to do that - but brave is also wanting the ball, getting on the ball, continuing to want the ball even if things aren't going right.

The element of fear comes out of your game when you consistently win because you've got the momentum and you're on a roll and the only thing we've got to make sure of is that good players continue to do the same things, they don't change their game - they add to their game. That's what I keep telling the players, if you want to change anything then add something like another one or two percent but don't change anything because as soon as you change then the momentum stops and you tend to try things that you don't normally do and that's when you become susceptible to losing games but they're a good group, they want to learn and listen and improve and that's what is key, improving not changing.
