We interviewed Mark Byrne about his style of play.about competition in midfield and Saturday's 3-0 win.

There's a lot of competition isn't there, especially in midfield.

We've changed formation and which has done well for us. I think it suits us because I like getting forward and coming back and Paul Terry sits in front of the defence for us and those like Max and Wolly to go forward.

It's a key part of your game, you do like to get forward and you don't really like to play wide as such do you?

Well I can take it anywhere I'm playing but I like sitting in the middle and getting forward, I'd also like to get a few more goals.

Are you aiming for more goals this season?

There havent been too many, I just need to get into position and put a few away.

You came very close on Saturday.

Yeah, I thought I'd scored actually, it was a great ball in by Azzer (Aaron O'Connor) and I headed it back across the keeper and thought it was in, but the defender came in and got it off the line.

Good performance from the team on Saturday then?

Yeah I think was a great performance from the team, we're getting better as the weeks go on, I think we're more of a team together and we're learning new things, we support each other as well and help everyone out.
