Paul, a derby game, you've played in these for various clubs, do you get the impression the players are really looking forward to this one?
Yeah, I think so, especially because we've not played for so long, we're chomping at bit to get back out on the pitch there and play a game of football so it just makes it a bit more exciting that it's going to be a derby match.
Do you draw more from the crowds? Do you get the expectation and the excitement from the crowd in these games?
Sometimes, it's nice with it being a derby with a bigger crowd and we'll take a few as well so you can use the atmosphere to your advantage as it is nice to play in front of big crowds, so what better way than a derby match.
An important match respective of the positions, a position to push on for the play-offs, is that in the players' thinking?
No, not really. Not at this stage. We know we're there or thereabouts at the minute, we've got to improve on a few things, we're not naïve, we know that. But we're just looking forward to playing a game of football again and we just can't wait to get out there as it's been too long now, the weather has just taken over everywhere in the country and it's get frustrating as a player having to train indoors and on astro turf. All you want to do is play football and you can't do it, it frustrating at times, so we're looking forward to it.
You had the opportunity to train on the pitch today, how useful do you find training indoors?
It is useful because it gets the fitness levels up and the management have worked hard on that with the physio to make sure our levels haven't dropped too much, it's hard sometimes when you're inside and you're limited what you can do, so it was nice today, to get out on a pitch, it's opened our lungs and our legs up a bit and it just felt good to have the grass underneath your feet.
Finally on Kettering, when you look at them, do you think this is a good time to be playing them with the troubles they've had, losing players and various off the field antics?
Every club deals with it their own way, I'm sure they're looking forward to the match as we are and I'm not going to sit here and say we're looking forward to playing them or anything, we're just looking forward to playing a game of football and it just so happens it's Kettering and it's a derby which spices it up a little bit.
We just can't wait for Saturday to come now, we want it so much and to add a little spice to it it's a derby. Kettering are going to be firing on all cylinders as well and they're in the same predicament as everyone else so it should be a tasty game.
