Justin Edinburgh: We'll take a squad of 19 to Cumbria
You're obviously without your captain through suspension, but with Simon Downer back will that be a straight swap ?
Although I've not picked the side, that's a pretty obvious change . We are disappointed to lose Jamie, as he's a fantastic captain, and has been outstanding for me since he's arrived, but we have a ready-made replacement in Simon Downer, to come back into the side. It shows the strength in depth of the squad - it's not the biggest squad, but I've always said we've got quality - and it's a timely return.
Have you made your decision who'll be captain on the day ?
No, not as yet. I'll be discussing it with Michael over the next day or so, and we'll make a decision when we get up there on Friday. There are one or two candidates we'll consider.
Which players will or won't be available for the game ?
Cliff Akurang isn't available. Although he is on a season-long loan, we have to go back to Barnet in January to extend the loan, and while the window is open in January, if someone comes in with a firm bid then he can make that move, and being cup-tied would reduce the chances of that move.
Is everyone else available ?
Everyone apart from Rob Wolleaston - he's got a problem with a nerve at the back of his knee. He came through the game at Daventry OK, and the knee is fine, but it's just this nerve problem. Simon's working with him, and we're hoping that he's not too far away from full fitness.
Will Nicky McNamara travel ?
Nicky is in the squad - he's fine and has trained superbly.
You're allowed seven subs in the FA Cup
Yes. We've got a squad of 19 going, so one will miss out, but we'll have a good bench.
Perhaps that opens things up for one or two who've missed out recently ? With Cliff being out does that open it up for Sam Smith ?
I think so. It's been hard for Sam.
I understand Corby have made an enquiry about taking Sam on loan ? Is it the best time for this ?
It's not right now - they've made an enquiry and I've said I'll consider it, which I am doing, and will review it and get back in touch after the weekend and let them know.
I can see you need him for the cup, but doesn't he need games ?
He does, he certainly needs to go out and play a month's football somewhere to get him up to match speed. He can then start saying "I'm here and I'm ready to go". With us playing so many games it's been difficult to arrange other games in midweek, especially with the Youth Team doing so well, so it looks a good scenario for him to go out on loan.
Are you considering a three month loan. ?
No, Sam's a part of here, and the deal has to work for all parties.
