The organisers of the Errea South West Challenge Cup have had to make a few minor changes to the tournament's fixtures schedule, with Rushden & Diamonds' matches affected slightly.

Rushden & Diamonds fixtures will now be as follows:

Wednesday 15^th July - Blackpool v R&DFC
Marlborough Park - Ilfracombe - Kick Off at 8:00pm

Friday 17^th July -R&DFC v Barnstaple
Marlborough Park - Ilfracombe - Kick Off at 8:00pm

The two fixtures have been swapped around from the original schedule, and will now both kick off at 8:00pm at Ilfracombe.

Talking about the tournament, Rushden & Diamonds Assistant Manager, Michael Stone commented; Justin and myself have both been and met with the organisers and we were very impressed with their professionalism and organisation.

The Challenge Cup provides us with a good tournament against League opposition including some Football League teams. Not only that, but it gives us a chance to get to know each other as a squad, build camaraderie, continue our training schedule and play in some competitive matches that will help us as we progress towards the start of the 2009/10 season.

Advanced Super Saver Tickets are available NOW through Rushden & Diamonds Club Shop/Ticket Office - priced at only £15 to allow one adult and two children under 12 to see any of the preliminary games. They will be on sale until Thursday 30^th June 2009.
