Change of venue for Hillier Cup Fixture

Rothwell Town v Rushden & Diamonds to be played at Nene Park

Rushden & Diamonds will face Rothwell Town in the First Round of the Northamptonshire FA Hillier Senior Cup at Nene Park on Tuesday 16^th September 2008 at 7:45pm.

The fixture was initially due to be played at Rothwell's Cecil Street ground. However the two teams have agreed to switch venues to Nene Park.

Admission will be £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.

Rushden & Diamonds and Rothwell Town last faced each other in February 2007 in the Hillier Cup Semi-Final. The game was played on a freezing cold evening, with the Diamonds finishing 1-0 winners thanks to a Michael Rankine strike.

As a result of the Hillier Cup fixture date, the Midland Youth Cup game between Rushden & Diamonds Youth and Hednesford Town Youth, which was scheduled to take place on Pitch 2 at the same time will now be rearranged.
