Tom Bonner has today been released by Rushden & Diamonds by mutual consent. Bonner signed for the Diamonds initially on non-contract terms under former manager Graham Westley, after impressing in training, with the 19 year-old later signing a short term contract. The former Northampton Town Youth player spent loan spells at Bedford Town and Heybridge Swifts during his time at Nene Park.However Tom has found his chances limited this season, and has today been released by mutual consent.

Bonner started only one competitive game for Rushden & Diamonds, being in the FA trophy away at Witton Albion and also featured from the bench in pre-season friendlies.
