Hart on first day defeat
Paul, that must have been a disappointing result?
"Very disappointing but the manner of the way that we were beaten was even more disappointing. It was a terrible goal from our point of view. In a game that we didn't play as well as we can, we dominated for long periods and we had enough chances to win two games I think. But there's a bit of bedding in still to do that's quite obvious and we've got to get used to this division quickly."
In view of recent events at Crawley did that make this game even tougher than usual?
"I knew it was going to be tough but I said to the players before the game and at half-time that the only people that will beat us is ourselves and it will be down to a mistake that we make and so it was. We didn't pass it as quick, we didn't get it forward enough or cross well in the last third but these are things that we need to work on. The lads worked very hard but we've got to put a few things right. It was a nil- nil at worst."
What about their goal?
"I'm not going to dwell on that or what went wrong but I'm sure that situation won't happen again."
You did create some chances today and might have had a penalty for handball near the end?
"I couldn't see from where I was standing if it was a penalty or not but the players said that it was. They had one chance in the first half while we had three that should all have been stuck away. One of our free kicks has gone under the 'keeper and stayed out while a header from Tyrone was also unlucky. So I'm not going to get too upset after just one game because this is a marathon and not a sprint. I thought we dominated the game - and I'm not saying that in any cocky sense - we dominated the game without playing well."
