Ladies League Cup tie re-arranged

Posted on: Mon 27 Oct 2008

Following the recent postponement of the South East Combination League Cup semi-final tie at Enfield, the game will now be played at the Dog & Duck, Wellingborough Town FC this coming Sunday - 6th April (2pm kick-off).

The tie had been scheduled to take place at Brimsdown Rovers FC on Sunday 23rd March, but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The re-arranged game last weekend also fell foul of the weather.

Rushden & Diamonds Ladies had reached the semi-final stage with away wins over Bedford Town Bells and AFC Wimbledon.

The other semi-final between Ipswich Town and Lewes had also been postponed twice, and home advantage has now been handed to Lewes with the game also being played on Sunday.

The winners are due to meet in the Final at the New Eyrie, Bedford Town FC on Sunday 27th April.
