Rushden & Diamonds FC Ladies Fixtures

With the South East Combination fixture list now published, Rushden & Diamonds Ladies start their campaign where they finished last season - with a trip to Enfield. They will be hoping to emulate their 4-0 win in that final game of the season. Their next three games will be against the South East Combination's three new sides, Cambridge City and Lewes having gained promotion from the Eastern and London & South East Regional Leagues respectively, and AFC Wimbledon who were relegated from the Premier Southern Division. Langford have undergone a change of name, becoming Welwyn Garden City. The local derbies with Northampton Town are scheduled for midweek, although the dates have yet to be confirmed. Diamonds Ladies will be hoping to improve on last year's third place finish, and with a few new faces in the squad, are looking to achieve their goal of promotion this year.

As last year, home games will be played at the Dog & Duck, Wellingborough Town FC (£2 adults, £1 child/concessions, including programme). A pre-season friendly has been provisionally arranged with Coventry City on Sunday 12th August (2pm kick-off).

Trials

R&DLFC have open trials for prospective new players during their pre-season training sessions. These are currently taking place every Tuesday and Thursday evening (7 to 9pm, except 19th July) at the Sir Christopher Hatton School, The Pyghtle, Wellingborough NN8 4RP.
