A former Arsenal trainee, Kenny arrived on a one month loan from Peterborough United in October 1994. He was released by Peterborough in January 1995, and joined Stevenage Borough, becoming a main part of their Conference winning side in the 1995 / 1996 season. He was released again in the summer of 1997, joining Harrow Borough. After a brief spell at Aylesbury United the following year, he returned to Harrow Borough.
