Kevin was the No.1 in the starting line-up for Diamonds opening fixture against Bilston Town having signed from Redbridge Forest during the summer of 1992. He played in the opening 25 games of the season and went on to make a total of 50 appearances which included keeping 17 clean sheets. Following his final appearance in November 1993, he joined Kettering Town. He currently combines a full time career with coaching the goalkeepers in the youth team set up and providing the BBC live-text on match days at Nene Park.
