Graham was a right back and had played for Frickley and Northampton Town before joining Aylesbury United in the summer of 1989. He then moved to VS Rugby in the summer of 1991 and after two years, joined Kettering Town. It was from the Poppies that Diamonds signed Graham in August 1995. He was on a monthly contract - an emergency cover following an injury to Tim Wooding, and played in Diamonds opening four games in the Southern League Premier Division. In his third game against, he set up the opening goal for Garry Butterworth but was sent off midway through the second half. As a result, he played just one more game two days later prior to his suspension. He was substituted by Wooding and his contract was not renewed for the following month.

He joined Dagenham & Redbridge for a brief spell before returning to VS Rugby for the remainder of the 1995/1996 season.
