Mark had joined the newly formed Rushden & Diamonds from Rushden Town in the summer of 1992. He missed out on playing in their first ever fixture, being one of the two unused substitutes, but he played in the next game, scoring on his debut. His career as a play maker at Diamonds was very brief however, and after just two appearances, he was released in September joining Buckingham Town, before later signing for Racing Club Warwick. He also went on to play for a number of local clubs including Long Buckby Town, Wellingborough Town (2000/01), Bugbrooke St Michaels and Heyford Town.
