Young goalkeeper signed from Holbeach United on 26 January 1994 made two appearances for Diamonds, one of which included the FA Cup defeat at Eastwood Hanley when he could only parry the free-kick which led to the only goal. He had to wait another six months before featuring again, and he was released at the end of the season. Returned back to Holbeach and was playing in goal for Yaxley of the United Counties League in 2002 after a spell with Stamford. In 2004, he joined fellow UCL side Blackstones.
